Zitai Wang
Assistant Professor of FinanceDr. Zitai Wang鈥檚 research focuses on empirical corporate finance, sustainable finance, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He is interested in how firms deal with the increasingly higher social responsibility standard around the world.
His teaching experience lies primarily in the area of corporate finance. Before coming to Hope in 2024, he taught junior and senior level electives to undergraduates majoring in finance at Indiana University鈥檚 Kelley School of Business. At Hope, he teaches financial management.

Outside the College
Dr. Wang was born and raised in northeastern China. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lili, and their son, Zion. He鈥檚 a gastronomic adventurer who loves to cook at home. You may also find him playing tennis, badminton and basketball in his free time (among other things).
