Scholarship Renewal Criteria
If you’ve been awarded a scholarship, it’s important to know the criteria to renew it each year.
Scholarship recipients must be degree-seeking students enrolled full time. Annual award amounts are divided equally between the fall and spring semesters, cannot be used during any summer terms and may be used for no more than two semesters of off-campus study.
Awards can be received for a maximum of eight (8) semesters. Additional details are listed below each award.
One semester of merit eligibility is forfeited for each semester the student is enrolled less than full time or is determined ineligible due to any circumstances listed below each award. Forfeited semesters are deducted from the eight total semesters of eligibility and are not available for use at a later time. Recipients who earn their degree in less than eight semesters are no longer eligible to receive the award. For students who qualify, need-based aid may replace all or a portion of forfeited merit-based scholarships.
